A scanned image of a black and white photograph of people standing on both sides of a street flooded with water and ice. Signs visible on the factory on the right read, "Commonwealth," and "Bostonians," identifying it as the Commonwealth Shoe and Leather Company. Writing on the back of the photograph reads "Gardiner, Me. flood of Mar., 1936."
