Color photograph from the Virgil Geddes papers, MS 739sc. Geddes, a poet, playwright, editor, and critic, was born in Nebraska and lived much of his life in Connecticut. No date is included on the photograph, but it was likely taken after his move to Swans Island, Maine, in 1965.
