Description
An image scanned from a black and white photograph from within the papers of Edward R Berry, a member of the University of Maine class of 1904 who graduated in chemistry, and the scientist chiefly responsible for developing clear fused quartz at G. E. Thompson Research labs in 1924. Text placed behind a thick specimen of quartz is easily readable.
