An image scanned from a color postcard depicting the Congregational and Episcopal Churches on Mt. Desert Street in Bar Harbor, Maine. Undated.
The Congregational Church is in the foreground. It was constructed of granite in 1888 and burned in 1942.
St. Saviour's Episcopal Church is in the background. It was constructed of wood in 1878 and was expanded through the following decades. It still stands today.
