An image scanned from a black and white postcard depicting the Porter Memorial Library in Machias, Maine. Undated but postmarked 1906.
Located at 92 Court Street, the Porter Memorial Library was constructed of Marshfield granite between 1891 and 1893 following a $10,000 donation from Chicago businessman Henry Homes Porter.
