Description

Twenty-five photographs and one picture postcard relating to the University of Maine. Photos capture events held during Maine Day, May 1948; Winter Carnival; and other campus activities. Included in the collection are several aerial views of the campus, circa 1940s. All photos are subsumed in Accession NA 2143. Donated by Edward O. Schriver, February 1990. Schriver received his Ph.D. from the University of Maine in 1967 and subsequently taught in the Department of History for 26 years. No restrictions.
