Description
Color photograph of a carved Maine bluestone boulder from the outdoor sculpture "Songo River Song" by Carole Hanson at Songo Locks School in Naples, Maine. The image depicts a broad, flat boulder set in grass and dirt, featuring relief carvings of fish swimming among curving lines representing water currents. The carvings are visible on the boulder's side and top surfaces, with one prominent fish seen in profile. This is one of nine bluestone boulders in the installation, each illustrated with wildlife from the Songo River environment. 1994. Unidentified photographer. (See p16909-p16917)(NA4800.)
