Description
Black and white, outdoor photograph at the wedding of Joseph Emery Smart, Jr. and Carrie Royal, July 18, 1897. The couple was married by Laforest Robinson. Joseph is seated beside Carry in front of their bridesmaids Lillian Smart and Alice Smart, and the best man, George W. Hopkins. The women are dressed in similar white, high-neck gowns with white gloves. Joseph wears a black, three-piece suit and white tie. George wears a three piece suit and necktie.
