Description
Black and white photograph of several dozens of fish piled on the ground. Cursive writing in black ink on the front of the image reads, "A morning catch off Black Cat Aug. 10. '04." Two dozen fish, identified as white perch (Morone americana), are laid out side-by-side for the image. Another two or three dozen fish are dumped in a pile on a large rock. Black Cat Island is located on South Branch Lake. August 10, 1904. (See also p08000) See NAFOH 2462.
