Black and white photograph of a group of eight men and women from the Smart and Dearborn families engaging in leisure activities on the front porch of the camp on Smart Island, Mattamiscontis Lake, Maine. The cabin is built with vertical logs and has been decorated with a festive length of bunting. A dark banner with white lettering that reads, "Album" hangs over the cabin window. An unidentified man, an unidentified woman, and J.E. Smart sit on the left corner of the porch floor, playing cards. An unidentified man with a mustache sits on the ground beside J.E. Smart, his legs extended in front of him. Four women are working to set food out on a long table covered with an oil cloth. Helen Dearborn kneels near the edge of the porch, adding a pie to an arrangement of seven or eight pies. Emma Dearborn carries a tray in two hands at the right end of the porch. Two large salt-glazed bottles sit in the right hand corner of the porch. The other two women are unidentified. undated, Late 19th-Early 20th Century. See NAFOH 2462.
