Description

Black and white photograph of Eda Lue Dinsmore taken in the J. Perkins home in Milo, Maine. Eda Lue wears a long white dress and stands near a table in a parlor with her face reflected in the mirror. Her dark hair hangs down her back in a long, thick braid that is just shy of knee length. As a child Eda Lue's hair was cut short in a boy's style as result of illness or infestation. According to Dr. Paul Dinsmore, she never cut her hair after turning 18-years-old. 1899 (See also p07935, p07964.) See NAFOH 2462.
