Description

Black and white, full-face portrait of a young woman wearing a pair of pince-nez glasses on a chain, and a wavy, Gibson Girl-style Pompadour. She looks directly into the camera and is tentatively identified as Eda Lue Dinsmore. She wears a high-necked dress with dark velvet trim. The top of the garment is ruched and pleated. The paper frame is embossed, "Chase Foxcroft, ME." undated, Late 19th-Early 20th Century. See NAFOH 2462.
