Description
Chocolate or brown portrait of Marguerite Dinsmore, born September 26, 1892 in Dover, Maine, the daughter of photographer Albert H. Dinsmore and Bertha Lougee. Marguerite is about 2-years-old in the photograph taken by her father. She is seated on a thick cushion in a high chair. She is dressed in a crocheted top and is bare-foot. Crossing her right leg over her left knee, she holds her toes in her left hand. The bottom of the cabinet card is impressed with the words, "A.H. Dinsmore, Dover, Maine." 1892-1894. See NAFOH 2462.
