Description
Chocolate or brown cabinet card portrait of sisters (left to right) Eda Lue Dinsmore, age 10, (1879-1971), Elise Mabel Dinsmore (1888-1980), and Winnifred Maud Dinsmore, age 7, (1882-1899). The girls were daughters of Representative Samuel O. Dinsmore of Medford Center, Maine. All three girls wear "boy-length" haircuts indicating potential illness or infestation. The two older girls wear matching dark-colored skirts and jackets with light-colored piping. Each girl has a high, lace collar worn beneath a blousy dark top. Eda Lue has large dark eyes. Winnifred has large, light-colored eyes. Baby Elise, born in December 1888, is approximately six months old, seated on a tall stool draped in a rug. She wears a light-colored dress trimmed in lace. She has dark eyes and light hair with a middle part. 1889. See NAFOH 2462.
