Description

Sepia photograph of John W. Dearborn and John Smart standing in the snow in the woods. Each man carries a rifle. John Smart wears a belt and sheath around his waist. The trees are coated with wind-driven snow. One tree in bent over under the weight of the snow. The left side of the photograph appears to have been extremely over-exposed, showing no detail. undated, late 19th-early 20th century. See NAFOH 2462.
