Description
Black and white photograph of two young women dressed in white night gowns in a bedroom, preparing for bed. Alice K. Perkins stands at Eda Lue Dinsmore's side, holding Eda Lue's long, dark hair, combing it. Eda's face is reflected in the mirror of the bureau they are standing beside. Eda Lue was proud of her hair and never cut it once she reached adulthood. The image is marred with thumb prints in the upper left corner. Milo, Maine. 1899. (See also p07964.) See NAFOH 2462.
