Black and white Real Photo postcard with a family portrait taken in front of a house porch. Lucien Dinsmore stands beside his seated wife, Etta Mae (Lowe) Dinsmore. Etta Mae holds her daughter Catherine in her lap as her eldest son, Wallace S. Dinsmore, stands on the chair seat beside her. The couple lived in South Portland, Maine. Lucien is a handsome man with dark hair and a thick, dark push broom mustache. Etta Mae wears her dark hair up and had a round face and dark eyes. A fringed hammock hangs from the porch ceiling in the background. The postcard is addressed to "Miss Eda Lue Dinsmore, Fairfield, Maine," postmarked Nov. 17, South Portland, Maine, and a 1-cent stamp. The pen-written message reads: "What do you think of your work? Isn't it nearly time to hear from you we are getting lonesome. All well here. E.M.D." 1912. See NAFOH 2462.
