Description
Sepia tone postcard of Pleasant River House, Brownville Junction, Maine, 1910-1920. The boarding house is a two-and-a-half story, clapboard building with a two-level, full-facade, covered porch. Three, front-gable dormers are situated over the porch roof. Two additional dormers appear on the extension off the back. The roads are unpaved. A period vehicle is parked on the street in front of the boarding house. Five additional buildings stretch into the distance along with a row of telegraph poles. Writing on the front of the card reads, "Main St. Brownville Jct. ME. 13." See NA2462.
