The canoe is perched on rocks next to cattails. An anchor is visible in the foreground. J.W. Dearborn is seated in the back of the canoe, a rifle over one shoulder, looking toward shore. J.E. Smart, Jr., a photographer, sits in the front of the canoe, holding his rifle as though shooting from the hip. circa 1900-1930. See NA2462.
