    Sepia tone photograph of two sportsmen seated in a canoe, J.W Dearborn and J.E. Smart, Jr., on the shore of Little Mattamiscontis Lake in T3 R9, near North Penobscot, Maine. The canoe is perched on rocks next to cattails. An anchor is visible in the foreground. J.W. Dearborn is seated in the back of the canoe, a rifle over one shoulder, looking toward shore. J.E. Smart, Jr., a photographer, sits in the front of the canoe, holding his rifle as though shooting from the hip. circa 1900-1930. See NA2462.
