    Color photograph of Lydia T. (Truc) Franz in her Owl's Head, Maine, home on April 7, 2002. Franz was born January 11, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of Walter and Lydia (Kralovec) Truc. She joined the Women's Army Corps July 19, 1944, and served at Arlington Hall, Virginia as a cryptanalyst deciphering Japanese code during World War II. She died in Owls Head, Maine, February 11, 2008. Detail of p14541.
