Black and white photograph of three unidentified men standing beside a loaded two sled hauled by a yoke of oxen, possibly Durhams. One man, wearing a stocking cap, holds a driving prod in his left hand. The group stands on a frozen lake. A camp with smoke coming from the chimney can be seen in the background on the left side of the image. Copy image donated by Merle Weymouth, Green Lake, Maine. Accessioned 1957. Some descriptive matter in taped discussion on ATL 2142.7.
