Abstract/ Summary
This volume consists of a copy letter book handwritten by Charles Trollope of the British 36th Regiment, to Lt Colonel Archibald Montgomery Maxwell, also of the 36th Regiment. The letters cover the time of February 28 to March 23 of 1839 and relate to Trollope's travels along the St John River during the Aroostook War. A typed transcription is available for download.
