Abstract/ Summary
A pamphlet with information about the Penobscot Valley Country Club and golf course designed by Donald Ross. Includes illustrations of the original lounge, porch, dining room, and club house. Also includes information on how to reach the club along what was still referred to as Maine Motor Route No. 15, circa 1930. A section on the property's history notes that the club was organized in 1923 and immediately took possession of what had been known as the Gilman Farm, where remodeling and improvements resulted in one of the outstanding country clubs of New England.
