Description

Black and white photo of bay mare Dreamlight, owner/driver Frank P. Fox up in the 2.20 Class Trot and Pace at the Cumberland Farmers' Club Agricultural Fair races, September 1933. The annual harness races in 1933 were dedicated to Frank P. Fox, dubbed "the Grand Old Man of Turf," who was identified in his March 10, 1935 New York Times obituary, as the oldest harness racer in the United States. Fox drove his first race at age 14 in a high-wheel sulky. Fox drove for more than 65 years.
