Description
Black and white action photo of the finish of the first heat of the 2.23 Trot and Pace at the Bridgton Agricultural Association races, Wednesday, August 6, 1930.
Although Kendall has labeled the photo in left-to-right order, the finish results of the first heat were Elmer Gentry in first; Delegoes Star, second; Macks Azoff, third; and Trampfleet, in fourth.
In the far distance wearing a white shadow roll is Northern Tree who finished the first heat in fifth place then came back to take third in the second heat followed by claiming first place in the three final heats of the competition.
