Black and white action photograph of the final moments of the second half of the daily double on Saturday, July 19, 1941 at the Grand Circuit Meet at Old Orchard Beach Kite Track. Black stallion Eddie C. Grattan wearing head number two, Maher up, won the race in 1.52-1/2, winning photographer Guy Kendall $35.25 on a $3 bet. Bay mare, Lady Henley, Fleisch up, finished in second. Bay mare, High Point, Miller up, showed in third. Cub McKlyo, a bay gelding, Havens up, showed in fourth place.
