Black and white action photograph of gray gelding, trotter Silver Kernel (far right), Frank Safford up, approaching the finish line ahead of the field in the 2.12 Trot on Tuesday, July 8, 1941 at the Cumberland Farmers' Club Early Race Meet on the Cumberland Fair Grounds. Coming in second place is bay mare Dorothy Decker, Bolduc up and in third, brown stallion Desperado, Forcier up.
