Black and white photo of trotter, bay mare Vonia Cress in action for the 2.20 Trot at the Essex County Fair, Topsfield, Massachusetts, Saturday, Sept. 17, 1927. Vonia Cress finished third in this contest but was noted in the obituary of her breeder, Fayette A. Amidon, as having record time of 2.13.
