Sepia tone action photograph of the finish of the 2.10 Pace, the first half of the Wednesday, August 9, 1939 Daily Double at Narragansett Park, Gorham, Maine. Chestnut gelding, Guy Brooke, Brockerick up, claimed the first place finish in a time of 2.12. Placing in second was bay mare Miss America, Avery up. Black gelding, Raymond J., Church up, showed in third.
