Description
Black and white photograph of bay colt, Ned Abbey wearing saddle number two, H. Craig up for the Foals of 1936 National Stake Trot at the Grand Circuit Meet on Wednesday, July 12, 1939 at the 1 Mile Kite Track, Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Judging by the shadows cast by the horse and sulky, the photo was taken by Guy Kendall near noon, before rain settled in causing the majority of the day's races to be cancelled.
