Black and white action photo captured at the finish line of the Classified Pace on Saturday, September 17, 1938 at the Oxford County Agricultural Society at South Paris, Maine. The photo captures bay gelding, Calumet Dime wearing head number seven, Gilman up, crossing the finish line in first place followed by bay mare, Cresent Signal wearing head number four, Phillips up, in second; and bay mare, Signal Rule wearing head number two, Haddock up showing in third. The race track band stand and judges stand are both visible in the photo background.
