Black and white action photo of the finish of the second half of the Daily Double on Saturday, July 9, 1938 at Maine State Fair Grounds, Lewiston, Maine. Chestnut gelding, Jolly Worthy, Farmer up, claimed the first place finish of the first heat in the Classified Mix Race with a time of 2.13 1/2. Brown gelding, Peter Simmons finished in second place while Roslindale rounded out the group of leaders showing in third.
