Description
Black and white photo of chestnut gelding, trotter Saint Nicholas, Ed Harvey up after the first heat of the E. J. Record, Grocier 2.19 Trot at the Oxford County Fair, South Paris, Maine, September 12, 1935. Saint Nicholas finished two heats in second place. Note the wire muzzle over St. Nicholas' nose. The muzzle in combination with the blinders suggest that St. Nicholas had some handling issues.
