Action photo of the field of horses approaching the finish of the first race of the first day of the Kennebec County Fair and Industrial Show at Central Maine Trotting Park in Waterville, Maine, Friday, Aug. 30, 1935. Hanover Mascot crossed the line in first followed by Sequence in second and Czar Bingen in third. The field was rounded out by Honey Volo and Susan Azoff. Note the scoreboard and attendant shown in the background.
