Abstract

The official race program for the Cornish Fair Races held in Cornish, Maine on Saturday, September 28, 1940. The cover of the program includes the names of race officials including the Starting Judge Glenn W. Rublee; Judges Dr. H. S. Irish and Howard Small; and Race Secretary Leon Ayer. The program cover also includes the names of Maine State Racing Commission members Miles B. Mank, chair, William A. Lumb, and Harold O. Pelley. The program cover includes a summary of the field of horses competing in the Daily Double. Inside the program, Guy Kendall recorded the official times, changes in the field of horses or drivers, and order of finish for each race.
