The track record time for Trotting set at 2.04 1/4 by Emma Signal in 1939.

Race day officials listed on the program include: Warren J. Wood, Chatham, N.Y., starter; Dr. J. A. Stevens, Dover, N.H., judge; Dr. A. P. Mills, New Vineyard, Maine, judge; C. Guy Kendall's handwritten notes for race finishes and changes in the field of horses appear throughout the six-page program.

The program includes a warning regarding the penalty awarded to "bad acting horses" as well as information for racing novices about harness racing including information about the age, stamina, and speed of horses; breeding of horses; the carts and sulkies used to train horses; and the specialized, protective harness worn by horses. Basic harness racing terminology including an explanation of both gaits, and the impact of a run on a race participant is discussed.
