Abstract

The official race program for the Thursday, September 21, 1939 meeting of the Cumberland Fair Harness Races. The races were staged at the fair grounds track in West Cumberland, Maine. The program includes the names of race day officials and a summary of the Daily Double on the front cover. The final panel of the card includes information about parimutuel betting rules and regulations. The program also includes Guy Kendall's notes on changes in the race lineups, including the finish times. Kendall kept a tally of his wagers and winnings in the top corners of each race card.
