Abstract

The score card from the Ice Racing event at Tripp Lake, Poland, Maine on Sunday, February, 12, 1939. According to the Lost Trotting Parks Heritage Center, ice racing was held on weekends, typically on Sundays, on Tripp Lake. Hosted by the Lisbon Falls Driving Club, races were a straight quarter mile with finish times ranging between 28 and 34 seconds. The score card includes Guy Kendall's handwritten notes including changes in race line ups, race finishes, and records of finish times.
