Abstract

Score card for the Saturday, July 20, 1935 Yankee Circuit meet at Cedar Lake Park, Sturbridge, Massachusetts. The score card includes Guy Kendall's handwritten notes about race finishes and changes in the field.

A report published in the July 21, 1935 New York Times supports Kendall’s notes on the fourth race of the day, a 2.14 Trot in One Mile. Master Hanover, Hartman up, claimed the first place win in a time of 2.07 1/2, paying out a $36.20 win for a $2 to win bet. Kendall’s notes to not include an indication that he placed a bet on this race but he notes claiming $13.40 in winnings on the 10th race with $2 on Alabama to place.
