A photograph taken of Mandalay, Myanmar by Henrietta Thompson in June 1972, a little over thirty years after the participants of the Walkout, some of whom she was then visiting Myanmar to interview, had completed their nearly two-hundred-mile trek from Nanantun in Myanmar to Litan in India.
