Description
The material in this record group mostly relates to the University College of Bangor (UCB), from its time as a college of the University of Maine, through to its merger with the University of Maine at Augusta in 1995.
The records are mainly textual information created and curated by educator Ann M. Weldon Blanke from during her years as a member and president of the University College of Bangor/ Bangor Community College Assembly and faculty senate (also known as Faculty Development Committee) president for the University of Maine of Augusta at Bangor. The material contains correspondence, clippings, reports, meeting material, and memorandums related to various proposals regarding the future of the University College of Bangor, from its separation from the University of Maine to discussions regarding it becoming a part of the Community College of Maine, and its eventual merger with the University of Maine at Augusta.
