Abstract
Paper Cuts is a collection of short stories, experiments, sensations. These stories vary from simple to bizarre, truth to Truth, believable to sincere; they play with form, point of view, plot. Certain thematic elements tie them together: parent/child relationships, discomfort with the body, loss, fear of the uncontrollable, pickles, selfcensorship. Together, they represent the author’s ludic wanderings and morbid obsessions; separate, they each create their own emotional landscapes.
