Abstract
"Witchcraft and Other Stories" is a collection of short fiction. These stories deal with a range of topics including the protagonists' struggles with growing up, being different from their peers, death, mental illnesses, and the art and craft of writing. Whether written in the first person or in the third, the perspective is always limited to the protagonist's, rather than an omniscient, outside narrator; this is to facilitate an intimate connection between the reader and the protagonists. These stories are approriate for a young adult to mature adult readership.
