Leapfrog
Abstract
Leapfrog is a creative work of fiction in the form of a novella. It is a mixed-genre piece that incorporates mystery, science fiction, medical drama, family relationships, and high finance. Medicine is the reoccurring setting, while the plot is woven around the confusing relationship between a woman and the daughter no one knew she had. The action is driven by the disappearance of the woman in the wake of the girl's arrival at the home of the woman's family and by hints that her ex-husband knows what has happened to her.
