Bibliopoetics: The Art and Future of the Book: April5-6,2013, Hill Auditorium, Barrows Hall (with a presymposium event on April5 at the UMaine Museum of Art).
What is the legacy of the book in the digital age? Bibliopoetics, a symposium sponsored by the University of Maine Humanities Initiative and the National Poetry Foundation, will investigate the meaning of the term bibliopoetics as an organizing principle of the author's relationship to books, in addition to the challenges that the digital poses to the existence of the book.
