Project Abstract/ Summary
The presentation, as yet untitled, will be based on the seminal media-based performance piece HPSCHD by John Cage and Lejaren Hiller and will be overseen by faculty member Nate Aldrich as part of the IMFA with technical and facilities support from Joe Donovan and David Adkins in Theatre. The presentation will be open and free of charge to the University.community and is intended to provide an important nexus for the arts across several disciplines (Art, Theater, Music, New Media), for the IMFA program in its first year, campus-based contemporary arts in general and the University and surrounding communities as a whole.
