Project Abstract/ Summary
Shakespeare's timeless tale of fiery wit, confused identities, lost love and love scorned is Marcia Douglas's choice for spring 2004, as she brings to the stage Much Ado About Nothing. lt has been four years since the School of Performing Arts has presented a Shakespearean play, so this selection will well serve the needs of theatre students and provide students from across campus with a cultural event. This play will also appeal to the Shakespeare-appreciating public who were deprived of their dose of the Bard when the Bangor waterfront Shakespeare series was cancelled last summer.
