Screenshot of UMaine in the News regarding The Penobscot Times shared a University of Maine news release announcing that the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) at UMaine received the inaugural Black Bear Award for Extraordinary Impact. Since February 2020, the EOC has provided and coordinated the COVID-19 response for UMaine and the University of Maine at Machias.
