Description
Image scanned from black and white negative labeled "Cross Lake." A very smooth, gleaming lake stretches across the image, framed by birch trees in the extreme foreground. At least four boats have been drawn up on the near shore, including one canoe. There is also a tiny wagon, perhaps a child's toy, on the beach. A canoe holding two people can be seen in the middle of the lake; there is a dense forest on the far shore.
