Description
An image scanned from a black and white negative that appears to be United States President Theodore Roosevelt walking with another man. A photographer's technique has been used to brush out part of the image to emphasize the two men in the foreground. Several men in caps and overalls are still visible in the background (which helps date the photograph circa 1930). The number "21" has been etched into the image on the right.
Notes saved with the collection include the name "W. L. Fay," Vice President and General Manager of Fay & Scott Machine Tools in Dexter and a member of the Maine House of Representatives, suggesting that perhaps the work was done at his request.
